Sigiriya, also known as Lion Rock, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Sri Lanka's most iconic attraction. Built by King Kashyapa in the 5th century, this 200-metre rock fortress features remarkable frescoes, the famous Mirror Wall, lion's paw gateway, and panoramic views from the summit.
How to visit: The site opens at 7am and closes at 5:30pm. Plan 2–3 hours for the climb. Foreign adult tickets cost around USD 30.
